Hawke's Bay/East Coast Branch professional development day

We’re thrilled to announce a special professional development event for all celebrants - whether you’re a marriage celebrant, a funeral celebrant, new to the profession, or have years of experience. This is your chance to learn, refresh and renew your skills!

We’re excited to have Winnie Duggan, a renowned Celebrant Educator from the Celebrant School and a Validated and Life Member of CANZ, leading us through a day of learning, creativity, and practical workshops.

The day will include:

• An interactive morning session on the latest trends and how to stay engaging and up-to-date in your celebrancy practice.
• A networking lunch to connect with fellow celebrants
• An afternoon practical workshop where we’ll explore creative ways to bring fresh energy into our ceremonies. This will involve hands-on work with rituals, audience participation, symbolism, and storytelling to craft meaningful and passionate ceremonies.

This event is designed to inspire fresh ideas, breakthrough common patterns, and bring new energy to your ceremonies. Whether you perform just one type of ceremony or want to expand your repertoire, this will be a day not to miss.

For those coming from out of town, we will arrange billet accommodations and car-pooling options.
