Gail Northwood

Hi. I’ve been based in Auckland since 1994, having spent my early years in the Far North of Aotearoa. I’m of Te Aupouri Iwi descent, with a whole lot of New Zealand European thrown in. 

I trained in voice and dance from a young age, and have enjoyed involvement in the Performing Arts throughout my life.

Photography is also a passion!

I’m married to the wonderful Alex and together, we have seven cool kids. No, I did not birth them all! Four are his and three are mine. We enjoy our growing brood of mokopuna.

When crafting a personalised wedding ceremony, authentic creativity and fun are my vibe! As either celebrant, MC or both, I might travel when tempted, by great loves and good times.

However, if you’re here because you’ve lost someone close to you, please know that I also offer empathetic support, and heartfelt funeral services.

I hold a Diploma in Celebrant Studies from The Celebrant School, Auckland and a Diploma in Performing Arts from Manukau Institute of Technology, Auckland.
