Every ceremony needs someone who truly cares. That could be you.

Have you been to a ceremony that moved you? Maybe you watched the celebrant and thought, I could do that. If that thought has stayed with you, you’re in the right place.

A celebrant creates and leads ceremonies for life’s most significant moments. Weddings, civil unions, funerals, naming ceremonies, vow renewals, memorials. You work with people during times that matter deeply, helping them mark those moments in a way that feels true to who they are. For most celebrants, it doesn’t feel like work, it feels like a privilege.

Could this be for you?

You love people

Celebrancy is built on human connection. If you genuinely care about people’s stories and want to honour them, you’ll find this work deeply rewarding.

You're comfortable in front of a crowd

You don’t need to be a professional speaker. You need to be someone who can hold space with warmth and lead people through an emotional moment with confidence.

You want work that fits your life

Most celebrants organise celebrancy alongside other commitments. You set your own pace, choose your ceremonies, and build your practice on your own terms.
