Julie Burgess

Hi, I am Julie Burgess.  I currently reside in Aotea, Kawhia.  A beautiful spot on the West Coast of the North Island.  I am (approximately) a one hour drive from Hamilton, Raglan, Te Awamutu, Te Kuiti and Otorohanga and quite happy to travel to these places for a range of ceremonies.

I’m a registered Marriage Celebrant.  The first wedding I officiated was in 2017. 

I have successfully completed five courses with The Celebrant School, gaining my Certificate in Celebrant Studies. 

No matter what ceremony you are planning, it is important that you are comfortable with your choice of celebrant.  Please contact me so we can have a chat and arrange a meeting so we can go over what you want. 

Getting married?  This is your special day . . . my aim is to ensure it is one to remember, for the right reasons! I will listen to you and work with you to tailor your requirements to suit you. Between us we will develop a personalised and meaningful day you can enjoy while still meeting all the legal requirements.  

Perhaps you have the task of planning a funeral.  It would be nice if everybody let their wishes be known, even plan their own funeral in advance.  But, in reality, this doesn’t often happen – leaving you with some tough decisions.  I can help guide you, take some of the pressure off you and lead a service the way you want it.
