I’m Irish by birth, and came to live in NZ in 1990!

I trained as a Celebrant in New Zealand and I’ve practiced as a Celebrant in Ireland, New Zealand and Spain! 

As well as weddings, I am honoured to lead non-religious funerals. My professional life as a nurse and midwife has prepared me well for this precious role as Celebrant

My ceremonies are inspired by living THIS one big life to the fullest, as well as the connections I believe we all have;  to the people that surround us and give meaning to our lives, to our ancestors and to places that we feel we belong.

I also am inspired by an appreciation of the natural world, via the waterways I swim in, the mountains I climb, and the winding country roads I’ve cycled whether here in New Zealand, Ireland or elsewhere. 

I live in Devonport my lovely husband Brett Reid and random dogs and ohter guests 🙂 We’ve been together for 20 + years. These days when I am not being a Celebrant, I swim and I teach swimming. I can always be tempted to go for a long walk or a tramp.
