Nigel Hughes

Being part of a wedding is something that I enjoy more than anything. I retired from a career in policing with the intention of involving myself in positive and rewarding ventures. That’s why I became a celebrant. My focus is not on price but the service that I can provide to you and if you’re happy then I have provided much more than money can buy. I enjoy any setting and my most memorable wedding has been on a beach in Golden Bay where we erected a stage from driftwood and the setting was unbelievable. I also enjoy the traditional wedding setting as well.

I am very relaxed to work with because I can be. I will spend as much time as necessary to ensure that the couple I work with are  happy with the service and comfortable with me delivering it for them.   I enjoy the outdoors so if you want to get married at the end of a marathon or in the Botanical Gardens, or even in your own home then that will suit me fine.

I live in Christchurch but if you like the sound of talking to me then I’m more than happy to travel because that’s also part of the experience for me too.
