Marylyn Hayes

Hello, my name is Marylyn Hayes and I live in the beautiful scenic Catlins with my husband of 30 plus years.  My absolute joy is spending time with my five children and grandchildren.  I am a musician when I’m not working as an office manager at the local school or teaching music. My hobbies include art, writing, sewing and doing crafts.  I am very passionate about languages especially NZ sign language which I am currently learning and reasonably fluent in. 

Weddings are a special way for two people to pledge their commitment to each other and let’s be honest…who doesn’t love a good wedding?? and I always feel honoured and priviliged to officiate at a couple’s wedding, so my aim when chosen to be the celebrant is to make the ceremony special, unique and that the couple have the ceremony/day that makes it memorable for them.
