Annelies Roskvist

I’m Annelies, and I love my work as a celebrant. I’ve completed the Diploma in Celebrant Studies [this includes two modules dedicated to designing and performing marriage ceremonies].

I’m Auckland based but I also have links to the Coromandel Peninsula and am happy to travel there or other places outside Auckland.

A little about me: My career has been in adult education, both teaching and management of a languages department at a tertiary institution. Writing, public speaking and really listening to people were part of my role so these are some of the skills that I bring to my work as a marriage celebrant.

In addition to my celebrancy work, I teach English to adults part-time, which is where I started my career quite a few years ago. My students are migrants and former refugees and my life has been enriched by learning about different cultures, and beliefs. 

In my spare time, I love being with family and friends, enjoying the NZ beaches and bush. I enjoy walking and have done most of NZ’s Great Walks. I also enjoy learning languages and travel.
