Cameron Heka

Kia ora, I’m Cam Heka, an Independent Marriage Celebrant based in the Wellington region, serving couples across the lower North Island and beyond.

I believe in your love story, and my style is all about celebrating you uniquely and authentically. Whether you’re after a simple registry ceremony, a fully individualised and hand-crafted celebration, or a bespoke vow renewal, I work closely with each couple to design a ceremony that genuinely reflects who they are: their journey, their passions, and their joy.

I’m currently studying to become fluent in Te Reo Māori and am passionate about working with couples to weave aspects of Māori culture into their celebrations where it’s meaningful to them.

Outside of celebrancy, I’m a husband and dad, an ultra-marathon trainee, a Zwift cycling companion, and an IT Functional Consultant. I’m also a hopeless romantic; my favourite rom-com, “Definitely, Maybe,” even inspired my business name.
