Rachel Posa

Hello! My name is Rachel Posa and I am originally from the sunny Hawke’s Bay but I’ve called Hamilton home since childhood.

My interest in becoming a marriage celebrant was sparked by a conversation with a friend, who remarked they thought I would make a great celebrant, one who would enjoy working alongside all couples with an accepting and open mindset, and welcoming to all.  The idea sparked an interest in doing just this.  My goal is to contribute to a wonderful ceremony, helping joining people from all walks of life together, in the way they want.

I have worked for many years in the tertiary education sector in Hamilton, alongside diverse students and communities, and as an academic manager, am an organised, warm and friendly person.  I have served my community as a JP since 2016.  In my spare time I love cooking (and eating!), travelling, concert-going, and being with friends, family, and my pets.
