Over the years, Karlene has transformed their 11-acre property into more than just a home for her boys and now grandchildren. It is now a vibrant hub for learning and connection. She has developed Earthbound to host a series of hands-on workshops, from beekeeping experiences and honey appreciation tours to natural product making. The space also provides a platform for other local artisans to share their craft, fostering a creative and collaborative community.

As her connection to the land deepened, Karlene began developing her own handcrafted skincare range under The Forgotten Garden Brand by Earthbound. A collection of balms, salves and skin-loving products infused with beeswax, botanicals and wild-harvested ingredients from her own backyard. Each product reflects her deep respect for the earth and her commitment to natural wellness.

Now, Karlene is extending her heart-centred ethos into a new chapter as a life celebrant. Whether it’s a wedding, a naming ceremony, or a farewell, Karlene brings authenticity, warmth and grounded presence to every occasion.
