Hi, my name is Wayne Allott. Along with my wonderful wife Gillian, I live in North Canterbury, having returned just on three years ago. We have two brilliant adult children whom we are very proud of.

– prepare for the death of yourself or a loved one. I am an End of Life Doula – Peaceful Presence Project graduate and a Professional Member of End of Life Alliance Aotearoa.

– by facilitating ceremonies such as weddings, funerals, and baby-welcoming ceremonies. 

– work with children. I am a Primary School Teacher – BTchLn (349217). 

– understand, accept or change if able, significant life events. I have a PGCertEd in Guidance in Education and Culture and Counselling. 

– understand the importance of spiritual rituals. I am a former ordained minister with the Salvation Army, (Senior Pastor). 

Kata Kairon (κατὰ καιρὸν) is an ancient Greek term when translated means, ‘at this appointed time’ or ‘at the right time’. I chose Kata Kairon as my business name to acknowledge that throughout our lives we all experience many and varied appointed times. These appointed times often include ceremonies, rituals and journeys, involving administration, logistical and practical aspects all with detailed planning.
