Edward du Plessis aka Ed

Kia Ora and Welcome.

I am Ed du Plessis, an Independant Civil Union and Marriage Celebrant.

Background

I was born in England and arrived in NZ when I was five years old. I have lived and worked in Auckland ever since. Recently I retired and moved to Thames where I currently reside.

My working life was spent in the Corporate Telco, Data world with many roles that all involved working with, beside and managing people, both Staff and Clients.

Connecting and Networking with people has always been a passion and priority for me. As a result, after retiring from the corporate world , I started driving school buses which soon included Urban work, Charters, and Tours with commentaries.

Why 

My decision to become a Celebrant was driven by my Grandaughter who asked me to marry her and her Fiancee. This was supported and reinforced by family and friends who believed I could add a special unique touch to the Celebrant Role.

Moving Forward

For me, being a celebrant enables me to fulfill my passion of Listening, Connecting and Communicating with people as they each travel their Individual Life Journies.

I look forward to meeting and working with you as we transition your Feelings into Words, followed by Actions and culminating into New Beginings.
