This year (2024), I completed two courses with the Celebrant School (Te Wānanga Korowhai Aroha) and have recently become a celebrant. It’s very cliche, and I think all celebrants say this – but I love weddings and I love love. I love being part of a couple’s big day and providing a personalised, special ceremony for them and their loved ones.  

I’m a warm, friendly and kind person. When working with a couple, I like to draw on skills I developed during my Psychotherapy qualification. Skills such as attunement, congruence and unconditional positive regard are extremely useful in creating a space of understanding and relationship with a couple to craft the ceremony they envision for their big day.
