I am a registered marriage celebrant based in Oamaru, and happy to travel to different locations for your ceremony. You might call me an enthusiastic romantic who adores celebrating a good love story! Having recently celebrated my 35th wedding anniversary with my husband, Blair, I truly appreciate the joy and strength of a lasting partnership.

We live in Ōamaru in the beautiful Waitaki district, where I also work as a guidance counsellor at a local high school. I thrive on connecting with people and supporting them through life’s significant moments—whether I am offering awhi to students in their time of need or teaching them about healthy social and romantic relationships. Driven by my love for connecting with people and celebrating milestone moments, I was encouraged to step into this wonderfully fulfilling role.

 I consider it a true privilege to help couples celebrate their unique journey and plan a ceremony that fits your needs for the wedding of your dreams, no matter what style you chose. I am happy being a celebrant at an elopement location of your choice, with a small group of your favourite people or a large ceremony in front of many friends and family.  I will work closely with you to craft a ceremony that tells your love story, honoring your shared values, culture, and personalities. Bringing enthusiasm, warmth, and professionalism to the planning process, I ensure that laughter, joy, and memory-making are at the heart of your special day, involving the people who mean the most to you. No ceremony is too big or too small; I enjoy being there to support you through the planning and celebrate this moment with you!

While I am based in Ōamaru, I am always happy to travel to your special place. Having already officiated ceremonies in the middle of a vineyard, beside a lake, and in a special garden, I am excited to meet you wherever you choose to create joyful memories for your special day.
