Andrea Haines

Andrea Haines is a born and bred Hamiltonian. Her interest in becoming a marriage celebrant was sparked by a request from a close friend who shared her love and passion for cinema. This creative and very personal ceremony at the Te Awamutu Regent Cinema demonstrated her empathy, and accepting and open attitude that ensures couples have a ceremony that fulfills their dreams. Andrea’s warmth and extensive experience as a facilitator and public speaker have resulted in a unique ceremony for diverse couples. Her work as a Senior Tutor in the Student Learning Unit at the University of Waikato has given her the experience of engaging with people from a variety of backgrounds and nationalities.  Andrea has served the Waikato community as a Justice of the Peace since 1997.   In her spare time,  she enjoys watching films, spending time with family, entertaining friends, gardening,  and making jam!
