Clare Wilson

Originally trained as a registered nurse, I now work as a School Guidance Counsellor. My qualifications include: MSc, BA, Diploma of Nursing, and I am a Justice of the Peace and a Marriage Celebrant. Mount Maunganui has been my home for longer than 20 years, although my husband, children, our labradoodle and I enjoyed a 2 year experience living in Singapore in 2016 and 2017. In my day-to-day occupation, Adolescent Mental Health is my specialty area, with an interest in all aspects of well-being, but particularly Māori and Pasifika Youth, Rainbow Youth, and looking at holistic approaches to well-being.  It is a privilege to be a part of a couple’s special day and officiate their wedding, helping them to craft their perfect ceremony and celebrate their union.
