I have a deep love for life, the outdoors, and connecting with people. You’ll often find me on the sidelines, enthusiastically cheering on my grandsons—being involved in their lives brings me endless joy.

My previous experience with weddings began in a creative space—as a cake maker and decorator. Now, I’m thrilled to take a more active role in helping couples celebrate their love through meaningful ceremonies. I’m passionate about sharing love stories, guiding couples through the legal requirements, and crafting personalized ceremonies that are both memorable and heartfelt.

On a more solemn note, I’ve also had the honour of officiating a few funerals. One was for my dear mum, who was battling terminal cancer at the same time I was navigating my own cancer journey. I also had the privilege of conducting my father-in-law’s service. These experiences were incredibly moving, and I felt truly honoured to support my loved ones during those moments.

Public speaking has always come naturally to me. I’ve spoken at both of my sons’ weddings and at the funeral of a close friend who passed away unexpectedly. I genuinely enjoy connecting with audiences, whatever the occasion.

I’m a great listener, deeply compassionate, highly organised (yes, a bit particular about processes and record-keeping!), and punctual to a fault—I truly hate being late.
