Kia Orana,
I am honoured to begin my journey as a marriage celebrant, helping couples celebrate one of life’s most meaningful milestones. Although new to celebrancy, it feels like a natural progression of a career centred on serving people, building connections, and recognising important moments.
I currently serve as a Community Magistrate in Ōtautahi Christchurch, volunteer as a Justice of the Peace, and chair the Te Pae Oranga Iwi Community Panel. These roles have strengthened my commitment to fairness, empathy, and treating everyone with dignity and respect.
Previously, I served 15 years in the New Zealand Defence Force (Te Ope Kātua o Aotearoa), including deployments to Bosnia, East Timor, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya.
In 2019, I founded Noble Friends Limited to support service personnel transitioning into civilian life. Alongside my wife, I also operate a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Clinic.
My community service includes the Christchurch Memorial RSA, where I have served on the executive board, as ANZAC Day Parade Commander, and as Master of Ceremonies in Lyttelton.
These experiences have taught me the value of listening, understanding individual stories, and bringing people together. I look forward to creating warm, personal ceremonies that celebrate each couple’s unique journey and commitment.
Last and by no means least, I am a proud husband, father, grandfather and veteran.
