I was inspired to be a celebrant by Vicky’s wedding in February 2023. The celebrant conducted the ceremony in English. Neither Vicky nor her fiancé’s parents understood a word. “I can help, I can help,” I heard my voice inside. I applied and became a marriage celebrant in May 2024.

Looking forward, I’m excited to take bilingual marriage ceremonies. My communication and public speaking skills have developed through my roles as an English teacher in China, a financial adviser, and a Justice of the Peace in NZ. I’m confident in holding personalised marriage ceremonies in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Note: I only take personalised marriage ceremonies. I don’t provide services for registry marriage ceremonies, civil unions, funerals, or other ceremonies.
