My name is Dr. Iwi Te Whau Jr, JP, PhD and I am a celebrant based in Rotorua, though I travel extensively throughout Aotearoa to serve my clients. I am a fluent speaker of Te Reo Māori and currently hold the position of Senior Consultant at Ara Tika Consultants Ltd, as well as a Cultural Advisor for an Ahuwhenua Trust, specialising in event management, mentoring, and leadership.

I have been a celebrant for four years and find great joy in this work. My professional background is in health and social services, and I have currently completed my PhD in Indigenous Knowledge focused on leadership, specifically examining Māori theological methods in karakia (prayer).
