To love and to feel loved is vital. When do you express sentiments affirming love in a heartfelt way to your loved one(s)? I feel so privileged and happy when couples affirm their love in marriage.

Weddings are such a joy, regardless of the scale! From intimate, small ceremonies to grand, luxurious celebrations, a wedding brings joy and lays a deep foundation for your future together.

I became a celebrant in 2018 when a friend and her fiance asked me to officiate at their wedding. As I had often considered becoming a marriage  celebrant I immediately studied, applied, and earned certification. I’ve had awesome feedback from all of the weddings since; “Perfect! We’re so happy you were our celebrant!” being the usual response. I really love helping couples plan their ceremony, supporting them as they write their vows, and lovingly guiding them through the magical moments of their special day.  I’ve officiated at large weddings, elopment weddings and intimate family gatherings, with equal joy and care.

My interests involve the great outdoors, sustainability, and helping others.  I meditate daily, reducing the effect of potentially stressful situations, so I convey calmness and peacefulness in the ceremonies I conduct, with an open happy heart.

I grew up in Waihi, Bay of Plenty, attended Waikato University, taught in primary and intermediate  schools, and enjoyed working as an Environmental Education Facilitator for 13 years. Now I am retired, with more time for weddings.
