Joanne Kupa

Growing up within a large family in West Auckland, spending time in a community, of sporting fields, or netball courts, playing, coaching. Where neighbours, school friends, were more than just a kinship, we were everyone’s family and whanau. Along with an amazing Husband, and three wonderful adult children, (in my opinion), A mother-in-law (Mama Jo) to two outstanding people. I love being a nana, sister, and friend. My source of place and pleasure is also when I am singing. Music was and still is my thing, Singing has helped me craft my way through life, bringing people together in a joyous or memorable way. Whilst also conforming to a leadership career within Banking and finance that has spanned over 40 years. Having a passion for writing about life and love, and with the loss of family in the early 90’s, lead me to The Celebrant School Te Wananga Korowai Aroha in Titirangi West Auckland in 2009, proudly graduating in 2010. A school that brought me even closer to my family and friends, my community and further enriching my life and those around me.
