I offer a ceremony that you will remember and cherish.  I write with creativity and take inspiration from my clients, as I meet and engage with them, about their special day.I have completed the Certificate in Celebrant Studies with The Celebrant School of New Zealand. Professional development is regularly offered to me. As a member of the Celebrant Association of New Zealand I take every opportunity to attend these.My background is in education, musical theatre and parenthood.  I draw strengths from all of these aspects of my life to help be vibrant  but sensitive, compassionate and professional in all aspects of celebrancy. Having a good ‘listening ear’ enables me to understand clearly what is required of a service.  Offering great creative ideas and  suggestions helps bring a couples wedding service together.  Showing compassion and writing from carefully taken notes helps to craft a ceremony with dignity, respect and love for those who have passed away.Becoming a celebrant was something I had wanted to do for a long time, and so I made plans to rise to this challenge, to study well and become that person. I continue to work part-time as a teacher in a rural school in Marlborough while sharing precious moments with people as they celebrate new beginnings, and celebrating the lives of their loved ones as I officiate for funerals also. No ceremony is too small or simplistic not to be celebrated in some way.  It is always my pleasure to help people achieve  a ceremony that they will find delight and comfort in.I live in Havelock in the Marlborough Sounds, and am happy to travel widely within this region. Blenheim, Picton and Nelson are close for me to  travel to also. “Many things in life will catch your eye, few will catch your heart.
