I’ve been a professional celebrant since 2017, and I feel incredibly privileged to have been part of so many meaningful moments — from weddings and vow renewals to baby namings, celebrations of life, house clearings and other special occasions.

Whether your gathering is intimate or grand, with two guests or 200, I believe your ceremony should feel like you. I take the time to listen, understand what matters to you, and craft a personal, bespoke ceremony that reflects your personalities, your story and your hopes for the day. No generic ceremonies — just words, rituals and moments that you can genuinely recognise yourselves in.

As an independent, professionally trained celebrant and proud member of Celebrants Aotearoa, I bring experience, creativity and a wealth of ideas to help make your ceremony truly special. I’m based in Canterbury and am happy to travel throughout New Zealand to wherever your celebration takes you.

Alongside my celebrant work, I have many years’ experience designing and delivering workshops and seminars on wellbeing and resilience, working in social policy, and teaching. I hold degrees from the University of Otago and the University of Canterbury and am someone who values reflection, curiosity and continuous learning.

I’m naturally curious about people and the ways we celebrate life. I love travelling throughout our beautiful country and further afield, meeting people and discovering different cultures, traditions and rituals. Away from work, you’ll find me enjoying cooking, art, fashion, poetry and simple walks on the beach — or challenging myself to explore some of New Zealand’s more remote places on foot.

My strengths are creative writing, finding the right words to capture the essence of people and their relationships, attention to detail, reliability and being organised and timely. Most importantly, I care about creating ceremonies that feel authentic, meaningful and memorable.
