Krissy Christensen

Everyone’s story is unique, and I would love to help you celebrate yours. Whether it is the beginning of life, a significant event, a pledge of love and commitment, a memorial, or the goodbye at a funeral, I will help to create the ceremony that best fits the occasion. 

I am known as a very good listener with a warm-hearted, calm and understanding manner. Having travelled widely I enjoy exploring different cultures and ceremonies.  I love being outdoors, by water and in the hills.  I currently work as a qualified group fitness instructor in gentle exercise, as well as my celebrant work. I love fun and life.

I have experience with many friends and family members who have lost children, siblings and parents.  Even in the happiest of ceremonies it might feel important to remember or honour those people who are no longer with you.  I can help you do this in a meaningful and appropriate way.

I am a member of CANZ, undertaking regular professional development, and have studied with The Celebrant School of New Zealand. I offer a shorter ceremony option for those who don’t want a personal handcrafted wedding day, but want the option to choose where and when you get married, and say their own vows, or to do a Registry wedding with the set Registry script.
