Laura Manson

Kia Ora! I am a neurodiverse Independent Marriage and Civil Union Celebrant and I hold a Diploma in Celebrant Services from the Celebrant School. I enjoy designing all sorts of ceremonies with my clients, and I love using my creativity to come up with suggestions that are authentic and personal. I live in Golden Bay, and am also a funeral celebrant. I own and operate Matuku Funerals, which is Takaka’s first funeral home in over 85 years. I have trained as a DeathDoula with Zenith Verago, and I am a associate member of ELDA. I love people, and am a romantic and happy person. I work with my beloved husband, Mark. He has a degree in sound engineering, and he operates our excellent 3 speaker PA system. We are both artists, farmers and funeral directors. We have grown daughters, age 19 and 22. I am interested in doing more gender transition ceremonies and life change ceremonies. I am a breast cancer survivor/thriver!
