Mish McCormack

For more than 35 years, my career has been dedicated to helping people become the very best version of themselves. My background is in the fitness industry, where I was honoured to be named New Zealand Personal Trainer of the Year for three consecutive years and recognised as one of The World’s Top Ten Personal Trainers to Watch in London in 2014.

Over the past decade, my journey has expanded beyond personal training to include roles as a business owner, director, mentor, fitness model, stunt double, presenter and coach. I am also a proud co-owner of three gyms across the Wairarapa and Wellington regions.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of achieving numerous national and international body sculpting titles, including a World Championship title. More importantly, these experiences have taught me how to connect with people, tell their stories, remain calm under pressure, and bring warmth, confidence, creativity and energy to every occasion,qualities that I now bring to every ceremony I officiate.

As a celebrant, my goal is simple: to create fun,meaningful, personalised ceremonies that reflect who you are and leave lasting memories for you and your loved ones. Whether your ceremony is heartfelt, light-hearted, elegant or full of laughter, I will work closely with you to ensure it feels authentically yours.

My passion for people shines through everything I do. I believe life’s most important moments deserve to be celebrated with sincerity, joy and connection. My personal mission is to leave a trail of happiness wherever I go, building genuine relationships with clients, colleagues and friends along the way.

I am also a very proud mum to two wonderful children and a lifelong learner who is always seeking opportunities for growth and connection.

When I’m not officiating ceremonies, you’ll find me in the gym, spending time with my family, or loving, feeding and spoiling my animals. I also cherish time by the sea, a place that holds special meaning for me as the final resting place of my beautiful dad.
