Robyn Richards

I graduated with an AUT Certificate in Celebrant Studies in 2009 and became a registered Marriage Celebrant in 2010. I am enthusiastic and experienced. With over 100 marriage ceremonies to my credit, I have developed a reputation for providing special, heartfelt ceremonies that reflect the personalities of both members of the bridal party. It is always my aim to invest as much time in every couple, as is needed, to ensure I achieve this. I can be relied upon to be flexible in regard to tailoring every ceremony I create. In fact I am often complimented on exactly this facet of my work. I pride myself on being well organised and like to keep in regular contact before the big day, particularly in regard to the content of the script that I will use. A printed copy of my final script is included as part of the service that I provide. I am renowned for my professional presentation and can be relied upon not to clash with the bridesmaids. While I live in Kerikeri and therefore have the opportunity to officiate at venues in some of the most beautiful parts of our country, I am also prepared to travel to venues outside of the Northland region. Before becoming a Celebrant I used to teach Physical Education and Health at Kerikeri High School in the Bay of Islands. More recently, I made the decision to give up my role as the Regional Sports Director at Sport Northland. I now have more flexibility and time to dedicate to helping couples and families with the ceremony that they want.
