Sharon Elizabeth Bakker

Hi I’m Sharon and so excited to be the celebrant that you may choose for your special day. 

I moved to the beautiful Bay of Plenty in 2006 from Leicestershire in the UK. This is my home now and for ever. I am happily married and we have four gorgeous children, and five grandchildren between us.

I’m a teacher and have built up a great reputation of always going that extra mile for all that come before me, and I aim to make a difference in everyone’s life.

I pride myself on truly listening to the wants and needs of others irrespective of their place in the world. I so want to make your day about you and what’s important between yourselves as a couple/ partnership and what’s special and significant in life around you. I have worked with families for over 30 years and it’s always been my pleasure to consistently put their wishes and needs first. I want to do the same for you.
