I bring to my celebrant work a unique kete filled with tools and skills gathered over an illustrious and industrious career in global marketing, public speaking, lecturing, and creative writing.

At the bottom of my kete lies a well-used, only slightly worn fountain pen. It represents a lifetime spent crafting words—funny words, solemn words, words with wings, and words with wit. Words of wisdom, and sometimes of tears. Words to celebrate, commemorate, anticipate, and grieve. Each crafted with care, for a purpose, for a person, for a season.

Beside the pen is a small red stone shaped like a heart, engraved with the word aroha. It symbolises my heart for people—my counsellor’s heart—and my desire to walk alongside those I serve. To offer compassion in times of mourning and joy in moments of celebration.

Sitting atop the kete is my mother’s old Box Brownie camera—a reminder that my role is to capture the essence of those we honour. Whether it’s drawing out the story of a beloved one’s life, weaving together the quirks of a couple beginning their journey, or sharing the hopes held for a new child, I help bring those stories into the light.

With these tools in my kete—alongside a healthy sense of humour and a strong sense of style—I’d be honoured to sit with you, hear your story, and help craft a ceremony that is truly your own.

I offer funerals, memorials, baby-naming ceremonies, new business openings and blessings, career milestone recognitions, birthday celebrations and anniversary ceremonies in the Auckland region. I specialise in offering unique services that are delivered with care, creativity, and professionalism. 

I hope to be able to offer weddings, engagements, and civil unions in 2026.
