As a registered and trained marriage celebrant for a number of years, I have been thrilled and honoured to help couples create beautiful ceremonies that express their relationship and love for each other, in very personal and unique ways. It is always a privilege to meet, listen to your hopes and dreams for your special day, and to work together to craft a personalised ceremony that represents you both. I enjoy incorporating children into the ceremony if that reflects your relationship, and am always open to finding new ways to celebrate your special love and commitment with your family and friends.

Life has many important stages and I am able to help you create ceremony for these – naming ceremonies for your precious new family member, house blessings, special birthdays, or any other special time that you want to make more significant with ceremony.

The end of our life is a precious time when families come together to acknowledge the gift of a person’s life as well as the sadness in losing them. I am always humbled by the opportunity to work sensitively and thoughtfully with families at this time to find the appropriate way to honour a loved one’s life. If medical diagnosis and time presents the opportunity, I am available to meet with you to plan a living celebration of your life or to help you to think ahead to document your wishes for others to enact.

Life has a richness to be enjoyed and I am lucky to have been a teacher, school guidance counsellor, infertility counsellor, author, private practice counsellor and supervisor, as well as a celebrant and now celebrant educator in my professional life. I balance all of that with fun and laughter with my husband and two beautiful children, and make sure to find time to relax and quilt, bake, garden and connect with friends and extended family.I’d love you to call or email and then we can arrange a meeting to see how we might work together for your celebration or ceremony.
