The Celebrant School

Answer the call

By Kathrine Fraser, The Celebrant School

Would you like to feel more confident and competent using te reo Māori in your ceremonies?

Are you embarrassed to hear poor pronunciation and tacked-on karakia?

Celebrants stand in a privileged position on important occasions, so really need to be good role models for culturally-appropriate practice.

This workshop is designed for those celebrants who are early in their language journey. We all start somewhere. You may have some basics and are ready to review and improve your use of Māori language.   A karanga is a call, and this workshop is a call to invite te reo Māori into your ceremonies. Enrol here for the early bird discount.
